Automation Test Engineer - Software Quality Assurance

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Web and mobile applications (iOS & Android) using Tricentis Tosca (or equivalent tools). Job Title : Automation Testing Engineer - Mobile App Functional Testing Location : Bangalore Job Type : Full-time About the Role : We are looking for a skilled Automation Testing Engineer to lead and execute mobile app functional testing using automation frameworks, preferably Tricentis Tosca experience. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in mobile test automation, scripting, and executing test cases for iOS and Android applications to ensure a seamless user experience. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications (iOS & Android) using Tricentis Tosca (or equivalent tools). - Conduct functional, regression, and UI testing to validate app behaviour across multiple devices and OS versions. - Develop and execute end-to-end test scenarios, integrating with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing. - Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements, define test strategies, and drive test automation adoption. - Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA or similar defect tracking tools. - Ensure compliance with best practices for mobile test automation frameworks and scripting - Analyze and report test results, providing insights and recommendations for improving software Skills & Experience : - Automation Testing Expertise : Hands-on experience in mobile app automation testing (iOS & Android). - Tricentis Testim (Preferred) : Experience in scripting and executing tests using Testim.io or similar automation tools (Appium, Selenium, etc.). - Programming Skills : Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python for test automation scripting. - CI/CD Integration : Experience with integrating automated tests into Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps. - Mobile Testing Tool : Exposure to Appium, XCUITest, Espresso, BrowserStack, or Sauce labs for device testing. - Test Management & Bug Tracking : Proficiency in JIRA, TestRail, or similar tools. - API Testing Knowledge : Experience with API testing using Postman or RestAssured is a plus. - Strong Analytical Skills : Ability to identify test scenarios, analyze results, and troubleshoot failures effectively. - Agile & DevOps Practices : Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps-driven testing processes. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience in cross-platform mobile testing strategies. - Knowledge of cloud-based mobile testing platforms like Sauce Labs or BrowserStack. - ISTQB or similar testing certification (nice to have).
