.Net Developer - ASP/C#

Job Description : We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic .NET Core Developer with a strong understanding of containerization using Docker to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying robust and scalable applications using the .NET Core framework and leveraging Docker for efficient packaging and deployment. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in the .NET framework, strong proficiency in C#, a keen awareness of security best practices, and the ability to integrate Docker into CI/CD pipelines. You will be a strong analytical thinker, an effective communicator, and a collaborative team player. Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications using the .NET Core framework and C# programming language. - Leverage your strong understanding of the .NET framework and its core components. - Utilize and understand the key features and differences between .NET Core and the .NET Framework. - Implement security best practices throughout the development lifecycle for .NET Core applications and containerized environments. - Apply a thorough understanding of Docker concepts, including images, containers, and Dockerfiles. - Create and maintain efficient and well-structured Dockerfiles for .NET Core applications. - Understand and implement the integration of Docker builds into Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes. - Develop and execute unit tests in .NET Core to ensure code quality and reliability. - Apply strong analytical skills to troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and design effective solutions. - Collaborate effectively with team members, contributing to a positive and productive team environment. - Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing. - Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in .NET Core, Docker, and related technologies. - Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices. Requirements : - Strong understanding of the .NET framework and its core principles. - Proven proficiency in the C# programming language. - Solid familiarity with .NET Core features and a clear understanding of its differences from the .NET Framework. - Understanding of security best practices for developing .NET Core applications, including awareness of common vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies. - Understanding of security considerations for containerized applications using Docker. - Comprehensive understanding of Docker concepts, including images, containers, and Dockerfiles. - Demonstrated ability to create and manage Dockerfiles for .NET Core applications. - Understanding of how to integrate Docker build processes into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI). - Solid understanding of unit testing principles and experience writing unit tests in .NET Core (e.g., using xUnit, NUnit, MSTest). - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical challenges effectively. - Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate technical ideas clearly. - Ability to work effectively as a team player, contributing to a collaborative and supportive environment. Nice to Have : - Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes or Docker Swarm. - Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) and their container services. - Experience with other testing methodologies (e.g., integration testing, end-to-end testing). - Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices.
