Job Title : Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) Admin L3. Location : Pune. Job Type : Full-time. Experience Level : Senior (7 years). About the Role : We are looking for a skilled and experienced Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) Admin L3 to join our team. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining OpenShift clusters in a hybrid cloud environment, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability. This role involves advanced troubleshooting, automation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to support containerized applications at scale. Key Responsibilities : OpenShift Cluster Management : - Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Red Hat OpenShift clusters. - Perform regular patching and ensure high availability and disaster recovery. - Manage full project lifecycle: installation, configuration, implementation, monitoring, and integration. L3 Support & Troubleshooting : - Provide Level 3 support for incidents and platform-related issues. - Perform deep troubleshooting and root cause analysis. - Work closely with development, DevOps, and security teams to resolve complex issues. Performance & Optimization : - Monitor cluster health and resource utilization. - Implement performance tuning, capacity planning, and scaling strategies. - Follow best practices for cluster performance and stability. Security & Compliance : - Enforce security policies and access controls. - Perform vulnerability assessments and ensure compliance with security standards. - Support VA/PT closures and implement remediation steps. Automation & Infrastructure as Code : - Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Python, or Ansible. - Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitLab. - Promote Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices. Documentation & Mentorship : - Maintain comprehensive documentation of cluster configurations and processes. - Provide training, mentoring, and technical guidance to junior team members. - Lead knowledge-sharing initiatives and technical workshops. Required Skills & Qualifications : - 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations. - 3 years of hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes. - Strong Linux system administration skills (RHEL preferred). - Experience with Docker and container orchestration. - Scripting proficiency (Bash, Python, or PowerShell). - Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab). - Strong understanding of networking, load balancing, and firewalls. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications : - Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration or equivalent. - Experience with hybrid cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Knowledge of DevOps practices and tooling. - Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana). - Experience in security audits and compliance reporting.
