Manager - Full Stack Engineering

Job Description : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager - Fullstack Engineer to lead and contribute to the development of innovative data engineering, data science, analytics products, and AI modules. Based in Delhi, you will play a crucial role in the end-to-end development lifecycle, from building robust backend systems and data pipelines to creating intuitive and visually engaging user interfaces and data applications. This role requires a strong technical foundation across the full stack, coupled with a passion for leveraging data and AI to drive impactful solutions. You will lead technical initiatives, mentor team members, and collaborate closely with data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders across Pfizer (if applicable) to integrate cutting-edge models into : - Lead and contribute to the full lifecycle development of data-centric products and AI modules, encompassing data engineering, data science, and analytics functionalities. This includes understanding requirements, designing architectures, developing, testing, and deploying solutions. - Architect, develop, and maintain robust server-side logic and APIs utilizing backend technologies, primarily Python, to support data processing, model serving, and application functionality. - Design, build, and optimize efficient data ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines using Python and SQL to ingest, clean, transform, and prepare data for analysis and model training. - Develop responsive and visually appealing web interfaces using fundamental web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap to create user-friendly front-end experiences. - Build dynamic and interactive web applications leveraging modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js, or AngularJS) to provide rich user interactions and data visualizations. - Create compelling data visualizations and build interactive data applications using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Dash, Shiny, or Streamlit to enable effective data exploration, insight generation, and communication of findings. - Implement and maintain the underlying infrastructure and tooling required for efficient software development and deployment utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible). - Continuously monitor and evaluate emerging technologies and trends in full-stack development, data engineering, data science, and AI to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement. - Design and implement automation strategies for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD pipelines) to ensure a smooth, efficient, and reliable software release process. - Implement comprehensive logging and monitoring tools and strategies to gain deep insights into system behavior, performance, and potential issues. - Collaborate effectively with data scientists, data engineers, and colleagues from across Pfizer (if applicable) to seamlessly integrate AI and data science models into robust and scalable production solutions. - Demonstrate a proactive and ownership-driven approach to identifying potential system bottlenecks, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities, and implement timely and effective resolutions. - Actively contribute to the establishment and evolution of team best practices, promoting code quality, knowledge sharing, and mentorship to help colleagues grow their technical skills. - Clearly and effectively communicate complex technical concepts, findings, and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including product managers, data scientists, and business users. - Potentially lead and mentor a small team of engineers, providing technical guidance, fostering collaboration, and ensuring the team's overall success. - Contribute to the technical vision and roadmap for data-centric products and AI : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. - Significant professional experience (typically 8 years) in full-stack development with a strong focus on data-related projects. - Deep expertise in backend development using Python and relevant frameworks (e.g., Flask, Django, FastAPI). - Solid understanding of front-end development principles and practical experience with HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. - Proven experience building dynamic and interactive web applications using at least one major JavaScript framework (React, Vue.js, or AngularJS). - Experience implementing and managing infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly desirable. - Experience with implementing and utilizing logging and monitoring tools (e.g., ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana). - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. - Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross- functional teams. - Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies. - A proactive and results-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
