Oracle Techno-Functional Consultant

Job Description : We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Oracle Techno Functional Consultant with a deep understanding of construction or project-driven business processes. In this critical role, you will leverage your extensive 10 years of experience in a Projects Functional role, coupled with strong technical skills in Oracle eBS, to drive successful implementations and provide expert solutions for our clients. Your exceptional communication, influencing abilities, and customer management skills will be essential in ensuring project success and exceeding user expectations. You will have a proven track record of leading at least 3 to 4 end-to-end implementation lifecycles for the Oracle eBS Project Suite, with a mandatory deep expertise in Oracle eBS R12, particularly in OAF (Personalization and Customization), Oracle Workflow, and REST APIs. Responsibilities : - Lead and contribute to the design, configuration, and implementation of Oracle eBS Project Suite solutions to meet the specific needs of construction or project-driven businesses. This includes translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications. - Apply your 10 years of functional experience in project-centric environments to provide best-practice solutions within the Oracle eBS Project modules. - Understand industry-specific challenges and tailor Oracle functionalities accordingly. - Take ownership and actively participate in the full lifecycle of Oracle eBS Project Suite implementations, from business requirements gathering and solution design to system configuration, testing, user training, and go-live support. - Demonstrate a strong and in-depth understanding of Oracle eBS R12 Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Management, Project Portfolio Analysis, and Project Contracts modules. - Utilize your expertise in Oracle Application Framework (OAF) for personalization and customization of Oracle eBS forms and pages to meet specific user requirements. - Design, develop, and implement Oracle Workflow solutions to automate business processes within the Project Suite, ensuring efficient approvals and notifications. - Leverage your knowledge of REST APIs to design and implement integrations between Oracle eBS Project Suite and other enterprise systems. - Effectively communicate with all stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, and client executives. - Manage user expectations, provide regular updates, and influence decision-making to ensure successful project outcomes. - Maintain a strong focus on achieving tangible business results for clients through the effective implementation and utilization of Oracle eBS Project Suite. - Analyze complex business and system issues, identify root causes, and propose and implement effective solutions within the Oracle eBS environment. - Create and maintain comprehensive functional and technical documentation, including business requirements documents, functional specifications, technical design documents, and test scripts. - Provide knowledge transfer and training to client users on the implemented Oracle eBS Project Suite functionalities. - Stay updated with the latest Oracle eBS releases, features, and best practices related to project management and construction/project-driven industries. Required Skills and Experience : - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. - 10 years of experience in a functional role focused on project management and accounting within a construction or project-driven business environment. - Proven experience in at least 3 to 4 end-to-end implementation lifecycles of Oracle eBS Project Suite (R12). - Deep and hands-on experience with Oracle eBS R12 modules: Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Management, Project Portfolio Analysis, and Project Contracts. - Strong expertise in Oracle Application Framework (OAF) for personalization and customization. - Proven ability to design, develop, and implement Oracle Workflow solutions. - Experience in designing and implementing integrations using REST APIs with Oracle eBS. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Strong influencing and negotiation skills (ref:hirist.tech)
