GCP Architect

Job Description : We are seeking highly skilled and motivated GCP Architects to join our expanding team in Chennai. As a GCP Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions on the Google Cloud Platform. You will leverage your deep understanding of GCP services and best practices to help our clients achieve their business objectives through innovative cloud technologies. Responsibilities : - Design and architect comprehensive cloud solutions on GCP, considering factors such as scalability, reliability, security, performance, and cost optimization. - Utilize Terraform to provision and manage GCP infrastructure in an automated and repeatable manner. - Design and implement containerized applications using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), ensuring efficient deployment, scaling, and management. - Architect and configure secure and efficient virtual networks using GCP VPC, including subnets, routing, firewall rules, and network peering. - Implement and manage various GCP load balancers (e.g., Application Load Balancer, Network Load Balancer, Internal Load Balancer) to ensure high availability and optimal performance of applications. - Design and implement data storage solutions using GCP Cloud Storage, and manage relational databases using Cloud SQL. - Implement asynchronous communication patterns using Cloud Pub/Sub for building scalable and decoupled applications. - Utilize Cloud Scheduler to automate recurring tasks and workflows within the GCP environment. - Implement and enforce security best practices across the GCP infrastructure, ensuring compliance and protecting sensitive data. - Design cost-effective cloud solutions and implement strategies for monitoring and optimizing cloud spending. - Provide expert-level troubleshooting and support for GCP environments. - Create and maintain detailed technical documentation of cloud architectures, configurations, and processes. - Work closely with development teams, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality cloud solutions. - Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest GCP services, features, and best practices. Primary Skills : - Deep understanding and hands-on experience with core GCP services, including: - Expertise in designing, deploying, and managing containerized applications using GKE. - Strong knowledge of VPC networking concepts and configuration. - Proven experience in configuring and managing GCP load balancers (Application, Network, Internal). - Solid understanding of networking principles and their application within GCP. - Experience in managing and operating Cloud SQL instances. - Experience in implementing messaging and event-driven architectures using Cloud Pub/Sub. - Experience in utilizing Cloud Scheduler for task automation. - Experience with various Cloud Storage classes and their use cases. - Strong proficiency in using Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management. - Significant hands-on experience working with the Google Cloud Platform (ref:hirist.tech)
