Position Overview: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Accountant to join our client’s finance team. This role provides a strong opportunity for career development and offers an excellent work-life balance with a hybrid work model in Vancouver, WA. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger entries and journal entries Oversee monthly reconciliations of accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards Take a lead role in the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring deadlines are met Prepare and review financial reports, ensuring they are accurate, timely, and in line with organizational goals Provide guidance and support for accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Ensure the integrity of accounting records and maintain proper documentation Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary financial information and support business decision-making Assist in managing internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations Identify and implement process improvements within the accounting function to increase efficiency Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field 3 years of relevant general ledger accounting experience Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas) Experience with accounting software (NetSuite preferred but not required) Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with cross-functional teams Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Proven track record of identifying and implementing process improvements Experience in a senior accounting or supervisory role preferred Why This Is a Great Opportunity: Competitive Salary: Up to $90K per year, commensurate with experience Comprehensive Benefits: Health, dental, and vision coverage Employee Discounts: Exclusive discounts on a range of consumer products Dynamic Culture: A company culture that promotes learning, collaboration, and professional development Hybrid Work Environment: Flexibility to work remotely part-time while staying connected with the team If you are a well-rounded accounting professional looking to take the next step in your career, we encourage you to apply.
