Payroll Specialist

Job Description Job Description Our client located in Paramus, New Jersey, and are currently seeking a Payroll Specialist. The role will primarily involve the processing of weekly union payroll, maintaining accurate payroll records, and occasionally assisting with HR tasks. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Accurately process weekly union payroll • Maintain precise payroll records using ADP Workforce Now • Ensure prompt and accurate union payments • Manage and resolve any payroll related inquiries promptly and professionally • Assist in HR related tasks as needed, including clearing I9’s and dealing with a high volume of paperwork • Ensure all employee timesheets are promptly entered and accurate • Use Excel for V-Look Ups and other tasks as necessary • Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a payroll specialist role or similar • Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now • Knowledge of About Time software • Ability to handle benefit functions related to payroll • Extensive knowledge and experience in ADP - Payroll functions
