We are seeking a Junior Full Stack Engineer to join us to work on innovative projects on Artificial Intelligence for Intensive Care Units. This is a 6-months Master Thesis in collaboration with Politecnico di Torino with the potential to join the U-Care Medical team afterwards. In particular, the thesis focuses on developing a new cloud-based, AI-powered platform for the management of infections in Intensive Care Units. Company Description U-Care Medical (www.u-caremedical.com) is a fast-growing Digital Health Startup, a spin-off of Polytechnic di Torino and accelerated by Mayo Clinic, 1 hospital in the world. We develop AI-Software for the ICU to support clinicians in preventing, managing, and treating serious complications. The U-Care Renal Platform is the first Medical Device CE-marked software that automatically elaborates 24/7 the clinical data of patients and unlocks proactive care of renal complication in Intensive Care Units. Role Description and Responsibilities Frontend Development: Design and implement intuitive user interfaces to enhance user experience, using modern frameworks such as React or similar; Backend Development: Develop and maintain server-side applications and APIs, leveraging technologies like C# or similar; Database Management: Design and optimize databases using PostgreSQL or similar technologies; Integration of AI Models: Collaborate with the data science team to integrate machine learning models into the platform and ensure seamless functionality. Testing and Debugging: Ensure the reliability and quality of the software by conducting thorough testing and resolving bugs in a timely manner. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with clinicians, data scientists, and product managers to understand user needs and translate them into technical solutions. System Integration: Collaborate with our Software Development Team and external parties to integrate our solution in the clinical practice.
