Key Responsibilities : - Function as a technical leader or system architect, driving cloud software innovation. - Research new technologies and analyze competing products to stay ahead in the market. - Design and develop innovative solutions for cloud-based networking with a focus on Wi-Fi, Fixed Wireless Access (FWA), and AI-driven technologies. - Provide expert guidance in software architecture, system design, and technical strategy. - Contribute to patentable innovations and intellectual property development. - Support engineering and product management teams in defining product requirements and responding to RFPs. - Assist in process improvements to enhance efficiency within the engineering team. - Work closely with product management and sales teams to present and validate solutions for customers. - Collaborate with R&D teams to align with company strategy and long-term technology vision. Qualifications & Skills : - MS/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 12 years of hands-on software architecture, design, and development experience. - Strong knowledge of software analysis, design patterns, and problem-solving techniques. - Excellent communication and documentation skills to collaborate across teams. - Expertise in networking and mobile technologies (4G, 5G). - Experience working with CPEs (Customer Premises Equipment) such as wireless routers. - Strong embedded systems mindset with an understanding of hardware capabilities, limitations, and costs. - Knowledge of Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) and Wi-Fi standards is a plus. - Familiarity with industry standards, technical trends, and competing technologies. - Proven ability to mentor teams and lead by example. - Experience with Cloud Computing, AI, and productized AI solutions is a strong advantage.
