As an integral part of our dental team, you will play a crucial role inpromoting oral health through direct patient care and education. KeyResponsibilities: Providecomprehensive oral hygiene care, including prophylaxis, scaling, and rootplaning. Educatepatients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care. Assessand document patient conditions, collaborating with the dental team for optimaltreatment plans. Administerlocal anesthesia and nitrous oxide as permitted by state regulations. Maintainaccurate and up-to-date patient records using Open Dental and other dentalsoftware. Adhereto infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe working environment. Travelas needed to support community sites, which may include driving a companyvehicle or personal transportation when necessary. Requirements: Graduationfrom an accredited school of dental hygiene. ActiveMinnesota Dental Hygienist License. 2-4years of clinical experience preferred. CurrentCPR (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross. Localanesthesia and nitrous oxide certification. Effectiveoral and written communication skills in English (Spanish proficiency preferredbased on clinic location). Abilityto work under a signed Collaborative Agreement following state and companyregulations. Proficiencyor willingness to learn Open Dental software, Microsoft Office, and othernecessary systems.
