Manual Test Engineer - Life Insurance Domain

Job Title : Manual Tester - Life Insurance Domain (Life Asia/ Group Asia/ Ingenium/ Life Line) Total Exp- 2-7 Years Job Location : Mumbai Mandatory Criteria : - Ability to participate in the entire Functional Testing Lifecycle and perform all relevant roles effectively. - Strong understanding of the Life Insurance domain. - Hands-on experience with at least one of the following applications : Life Asia, Group Asia, Ingenium, Life Line. - Excellent communication skills. - Strong logical thinking and problem-solving ability. Roles and Responsibilities : Test Design & Planning : - Create detailed Test Scenarios & Test Cases based on BRD (Business Requirement Document) / FSD (Functional Specification Document). - Develop and maintain a Requirement Traceability Matrix to ensure complete test coverage. - Conduct Test Pack walkthroughs with relevant stakeholders. Test Execution : - Select and execute Regression Tests as per the scope of changes. - Identify and select Test Cases that are suitable for Automation as per predefined selection criteria. - Create and update Test Data required for Automation Test Cases. - Identify dynamic Test Data inputs and generate values using formulas, database queries, and calculators. - Conduct System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) execution. Defect Management : - Report defects accurately and track them through defect lifecycle. - Follow up with Developers and Business Analysts (BA IT) for defect resolution. - Ensure defect ageing tracking is in line with Service Level Agreements (SLA). Required Skills & Qualifications : - Proven experience in Manual Testing within the Life Insurance domain. - Strong analytical and logical thinking capabilities. - Experience in creating Test Scenarios, Test Cases, and RTM. - Hands-on experience with Life Asia/ Group Asia/ Ingenium/ Life Line. - Exposure to Automation Testing fundamentals is a plus. - Proficiency in SQL and database queries for test data generation. - Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams. - Strong verbal and written communication skills.
