Job Title: Software Engineer Job Location: Lexington MA 02420 Onsite Requirements: 10 years of C++ (11 or higher) 5 years developing in rapid- prototyping environment using modern C++ Linux experience Job Description: The Communication Networks and Analysis Group is seeking to hire a software developer engineer that will implement various algorithms designed by Client staff and interface to existing radio systems. The work requires strong C++ experience, network emulation experience, and the ability to work with and interface with hardware. Required skills: Strong C++ development skills to include C++11/14, Standard Template Library (STL), and modern best practices Strong network socket programming experience Strong experience with link/MAC and network protocols Ability to operate in rapid-development environment Experience with interfacing with DoD radio systems Skill Matrix: QualificationAssessment Must Have Degree LevelBachelor's Degree Experience Experience interfacing and/or operating DoD radio systems - 5 years Networks Background with Link Layer/Mac protocols - 3 years Network socket programming experience - 7 years Programming C++11 or later, Stand Template Library, Boost library - 10 years Development experience on a Linux platform - 10 years Programming in a rapid-development environment - 5 years 3rd party and subcontract staffing agencies are not eligible for partnership on this position. 3rd party subcontractors need not apply. This position requires candidates to be eligible to work in the United States, directly for an employer, without sponsorship now or anytime in the future
