CNC Lathe Machinist

Job Description Job Description Our client, a precision engineering, manufacturing, and machining company dedicated to producing high-performance, mission-critical components and solutions for the energy, defense, aerospace, and heavy industrial industries, is looking to add a CNC Lathe Machinist to their team. In this role, you will be responsible for machining high-quality complex components, that conform to engineered drawings and specifications. The candidate will need to be a critical thinker, have sharp attention to detail, and follow existing proven processes. This position offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package! AVAILABLE SHIFT MON-THURS 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM CST Location: Mansfield, TX Position Type: Full-Time Role Overview: As a CNC Set-up Machinist, you'll operate and program CNC machines to produce high-quality parts. You'll play a key role in ensuring precision and efficiency in manufacturing, utilizing your expertise in CAM programming, CNC operation, and quality inspection. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC lathe machines. Reading blueprints. Setting up and run multiple lathe machines. Modify and edit G/M code programs. Inspect parts using Quality Assurance tools such as guages and micrometers. Train and mentor other machinists if/when needed. Maintain equipment and ensure a safe work environment. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. 5-7 years of CNC programming and operation experience. Strong mechanical aptitude and precision machining skills. Ability to work with 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC mills. Experience with SolidWorks is a plus.
