This involves aligning your efforts with the overall objectives of the team to achieve seamless integration and success. Building and maintaining constructive working relationships with team members and key stakeholders across various divisions within Powerlink is essential. By fostering these relationships, you will ensure effective communication and collaboration, which are crucial for the successful delivery of projects. You will be responsible for delivering assigned works management packages, ensuring that refurbishment, and capital project work are carried out efficiently and effectively. This includes overseeing the entire process to guarantee that all tasks are completed to the highest standards. Additionally, you will assist the Section Leaders and the Works Planning Team in determining the effective deployment of field staff for project work. This involves considering the need to train and develop staff competence and skills to ensure that the team is well-prepared and capable of handling their responsibilities. Finally, you will provide estimates, scope new work, and plan the delivery of work packages using a skill mix that minimizes outages and maximizes efficiency. By carefully planning and executing these tasks, you will contribute to the overall success and efficiency of the team's operations. The People You'll Join As a member of the Works Delivery Team within our Operations and Service Delivery division you will be joining a growing function based in Townsville. You will join a team that ensure the successful planning and completion of works to support our people and portfolio. What You'll Bring Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering / Project Management or, relevant trade qualifications and considerable experience in construction and refurbishment activities in a transmission environment.“C” Class driver’s License Additionally, you will have significant experience in the field delivery of project work within a high voltage transmission environment. You will be skilled in planning, scheduling, and delivering technical work packages, and providing technical services to field and professional staff. You will also be adept at managing capital projects, and refurbishment, improving work processes, and effectively deploying field staff. Experience in scoping and estimating technical work packages and operating in technologically advanced environments is also essential.
