We have five locations and over 500 personnel on the eastern coast of Australia providing equipment and services to our major mining customers. We're seeking a highly motivated Financial Controller to lead our financial and business systems activities. You'll be responsible for the consolidated reporting of multiple complex entities, reporting directly to the General Manager of Finance. What You'll Do Multiple entity monthly reportingPreparation of the statutory group financial statementsBudgeting and forecastingManagement of daily cash flow and reportingPreparing company tax with external accountantsLeading and developing a small teamEnsuring Trial balance is fully reconciled and accurately represents the financial position of the companyControl of data quality and integrity in the financial reporting systemsPreparation of monthly rolling forecasts including variance analysisBe responsible for all indirect taxes - GST, FBT, Withholding Tax - including submission of relevant returnsLiaison point with 3rd parties such as vendors, auditors, ATO, Inland revenue, ASIC, Companies OfficeSupporting GM Finance with projects as required What We're Looking For CA or CPA qualified AccountantExperience working for a sizeable complex business in a similar roleSignificant consolidation and statutory reporting experienceUnderstanding of Financial Accounting & Management AccountingA proactive attitude and a desire to grow your career with a successful and developing company
