Senior Quality Manager

The QualiFind Group is managing a worldwide search for a Senior Quality Manager for our client’s manufacturing site in Tijuana, Baja California. We are seeking a director-level candidate with specific experience in the back-end semiconductor business. POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for overall Quality Management functions, from new products to Production ramp. Define, develop, and drive quality strategies to meet operational excellence and organizational goals. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE Establish and drive Site QM targets' achievement across all Quality Management functions. Liaise with external interface (BE, BU, and cluster) for common Quality alignment. Complaint management support, define quality requirements for package/process/transfer safe launch qualification for site optimal release & risk decision management. Ensuring that the integrity of the Quality Management system is maintained when changes are planned and implemented. Site Management representative for IATF and AS9100 and all applicable registration requirements. Ensure effective Internal and External audit execution as planned as well as to suppliers to fulfil requirements. Department budget planning, execution, and control responsibility. Lead, coach, and foster leaders (Managers, Senior Managers) to achieve efficient operation on each function, establish clear roles and responsibilities Collaborate with BE Cluster functions to process improvement, and initiatives deployment such as NLoZD house of quality, and provide periodic quality updates. Responsible for target setting, to monitor and report all key performance indicators from all quality functions under responsibility. Meeting customer expectations in quality and reliability, and problem-solving requirements Handle internal and external customers' escalations, ensuring risk mitigation. REQUIREMENTS Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years of leadership experience in quality management for semiconductor backend operations serving automotive customers. Have experience in overall Quality Management functions, from new products to production ramp. Be able to define, develop, and drive quality strategies to meet operational excellence and the Company’s goals. Maintain and monitor the Quality Management System and systematic processes and methods, considering standards and customer requirements. Deep knowledge of automotive standards and customer requirements (IATF 16949, AIAG Core Tools, PPAP, APQP, MSA, SPC). Need to ensure compliance with the Company’s Behaviors Model. EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree / Master’s degree in Engineering or Science. Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, while ensuring conformance to the company´s high-performance mode.
