Job Title : Python Developer (FastAPI) Location : Pune / Mumbai, India Experience : 5 Years Notice Period : Immediate Joiners Only Role Description : We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Python Developer with a strong focus on FastAPI to join our dynamic team in either Pune or Mumbai. As a key member of our development group, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable backend applications and APIs. You will leverage your deep expertise in Python and the FastAPI framework to build high-performance microservices and contribute to the overall architecture of our systems. This role demands a strong understanding of API development principles, microservices architecture, database technologies, and agile methodologies. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about clean code, efficient solutions, and are ready to contribute immediately. Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code using the FastAPI framework. - Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices following best practices. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, product managers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality software solutions. - Contribute to the design and architecture of microservices and backend systems. - Integrate with various SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring data integrity and performance. - Participate actively in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and code reviews. - Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability. - Troubleshoot and debug complex application issues, identifying and implementing effective solutions. - Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Python development, FastAPI, and related areas. - Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team. - (Advantageous) Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. - (Advantageous) Utilize containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 5 years of strong hands-on experience in Python development. - Significant and demonstrable experience with the FastAPI framework. - Solid understanding of API development principles (RESTful, etc.) and microservices architecture. - Good working knowledge of both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) databases. - Proven experience working with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban). - Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. - Must be an immediate joiner (able to join within a very short timeframe). Advantageous Skills : Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS (Amazon Web Services) or Azure. - Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and best practices. - Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, unittest). - Knowledge of other Python frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask). - Experience with message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) (ref:hirist.tech)
