Job Title : Ab Initio Developer/Lead. Experience : 5 years. Location : Trivandrum, Chennai, Kochi, Bangalore, Hyderabad. Job Description : As an SDE2 Ab Initio Services Engineer, you will be part of a self-organized engineering team responsible for designing and developing software features that significantly impact the lives of credit card consumers. You will work closely with Product Management and leadership to achieve goals and deliver impactful solutions. Your focus will be on major portions of existing or new software, driving innovation, maintaining engineering best practices, and ensuring operational excellence. Key Responsibilities : - Collaborate with a self-organized Ab Initio engineering team to design and develop software features. - Align with product management and your management chain to achieve team and product vision and goals. - Own significant components, sets of features, or mid-size Drive engineering best practices (e. , operational excellence, security, and quality) and set standards across the team and wider engineering teams. - Contribute to innovation within your technical domain and team. - Deliver throughout the full development lifecycle and ensure all deliverables meet quality and security standards. - Address technical questions from the team related to requirements from product managers. - Develop solutions for requirements and identify gaps in the definition to deliver comprehensive solutions. - Write and review code in GDE and Unix scripting languages while ensuring adherence to best practices. - Advocate for quality by using methods like Pair Programming, reviewing code, and providing constructive feedback. - Estimate delivery timescales and justify them effectively. - Work with Jenkins pipelines and understand their principles. - Actively contribute to agile practices within the team. Must-Have Skills : - Ab Initio (expertise in Ab Initio tools and technologies). - Strong proficiency in Java. - Hands-on experience with GDE (Graphical Development Environment) and Unix scripting languages. - Experience delivering software throughout the full development lifecycle. - Strong knowledge of Agile practices. - Ability to identify gaps in requirements and come up with comprehensive solutions. - Capability to write, review, and refactor code in GDE and Unix scripting languages. - Strong advocate for quality, with a focus on improving delivery throughput and reducing waste (e., using Pair Programming). - Proficient in estimating delivery timelines and justifying estimates effectively. - Familiarity with Jenkins pipeline principles. Good-to-Have Skills : - AWS interactions and file storage knowledge. - Understanding of Lambda programming. - Ability to solve real-world problems and work in a regulated environment. Experience : - Proven experience in delivering software solutions using Ab Initio and related technologies. - Hands-on experience with AWS, including file storage and cloud-related technologies. - Familiarity with Lambda programming. - Experience working in regulated industries, solving complex problems in highsecurity. environments.
