What You’ll Be Doing As a Semi-Trailer Technician , you will: Inspect and repair semi-trailers, including brakes, wiring, bodywork, lift gates, and more. Install and replace add-on components like toolboxes, winches, and ramp kits. Perform fabrication and welding as needed. Ensure quality and safety , completing service reports and maintaining high standards What You Need to Succeed Required Qualifications: Reliable transportation to and from work. Own a personal set of hand tools – essential for the job. Strong mechanical aptitude – experience with semi-trailer equipment, tools, and maintenance. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools safely and efficiently. Willingness to work overtime when needed. Preferred Qualifications: Valid driver’s license – a plus, but not required. 3 years of experience in semi-trailer repairs. Industry certifications such as ASE or welding certification. Bilingual (Spanish) – a valuable asset. Physical Demands & Work Environment Frequently required to stand, walk, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs. Work in a dynamic shop, yard, or mobile service environment. Exposure to mechanical parts, chemicals, and varying temperatures.
