AutoCAD Technician - Residential Site Design

Job Description Job Description Lawrenceville, Georgia land surveying & civil engineering firm is currently accepting resumes for a full-time CAD Technician - Residential Site Design with 2-4 years of work related experience. Candidate will focus on preparing residential plan production for the company and should have previous working knowledge of development standards within Metro Atlanta municipalities. Experience in residential site plan production within the cities of Alpharetta, Atlanta, Brookhaven, Sandy Springs, Milton and unincorporated DeKalb County will be grant highest status. Experience in production of AutoCAD-related drawings including house location plans, demolition plans, residential drainage plans, residential surveys, form/foundation as-built surveys and septic plans is required. This position will be responsible for the development of drawings of including site layout, grading and drainage, basic hydrological studies, utilities, and plan and profiles. Emphasis is placed on prior work experience in hydrological studies, plan production and retaining wall design in the Metro Atlanta area. A strong background in industry-related software including, but not limited to: AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat is required. Candidate should possess excellent organizational and communication skills and will be a primary point of contact with company's client base during plan production. Individual should possess the ability to succeed in a team-oriented, fast-paced work environment. This Job Is Ideal for Someone Who Is: Experience in residential site plan design.
