Position Overview: Job Type: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week) Duration: Full academic year (2024-2025) Caseload: K-12 (specific details to be discussed during interviews) Work Setting: School-based, providing direct healthcare support to students Key Responsibilities: Provide basic healthcare services to students, including first aid, medication administration, and health assessments Support students with chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and seizures under the direction of an RN or school physician Assist with individualized healthcare plans (IHPs) and emergency response procedures Conduct health screenings and monitor immunization compliance Educate students and staff on basic health and wellness practices Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with school health policies Collaborate with school nurses, teachers, and parents to support student well-being *Must ride the bus with student and assist throughout school day. Qualifications: Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Massachusetts (required) CPR and First Aid certification (required) Experience in pediatrics or school nursing preferred, but not required Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team environment Excellent communication and organizational skills *Must be competent and comfortable working with Tracheostomy Tube Why Join ProCare Therapy?
