Our client, a leader in the automotive industry, is seeking a Mechanical, Test & Validation Engineering 2 to join their team. As a Mechanical, Test & Validation Engineering 2, you will be part of the engineering department supporting vehicle development and testing teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Mechanical, Test & Validation Engineering 2 Location: Long Beach, CA Pay Range: $49.68 Hourly What's the Job? Develop, program, and maintain software tool solutions for effective vehicle testing and development analysis. Create and manage individual R&D testing data analysis reports for powertrain development teams. Evaluate faults and lead problem-solving activities, collaborating with technical experts. Support internal Key Process Indicators to monitor current status and forecast future needs. Actively participate in continuous process improvements for internal and external processes. What's Needed? Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Engineering or Computer Science. Minimum of 3 years experience in engineering R&D and software development, preferably in the automotive industry. Proficiency in multiple coding languages including Python, JavaScript, SQL, and MATLAB. Strong understanding of automotive technology and vehicle functions.
