Workshop Supervisor – Heavy Plant A leading major dealership specialising in Heavy Plant are looking for a Workshop Supervisor to oversee the day to day running of workshop activities and guiding the careers of the workshop team, whilst working with some of the most advanced machinery in the industry. Role: Workshop Supervisor Area: Cambridgeshire Salary: £50,000 What’s on Offer: 25 days annual leave Bank Holidays 5% Employer Pension contribution Life Assurance 4x annual salary Private healthcare EAP, which includes 24/7 Doctor access Cycle to Work Scheme Company events The requirements of the Workshop Supervisor will be: The Workshop Supervisor will effectively plan and organise workshop activities, ensuring all jobs are completed on time and in line with process Day to day management of Workshop team, identifying any training gaps and actioning performance management Develop and guide apprentices through hands on mentoring Regular review of process and working practices, streamline/improve where necessary Ensure a high level of Health and Safety are in place at all times The ideal candidate for Workshop Supervisor will have: Experience as a time served engineer with a formal apprenticeship in Construction Plant or similar Experience within Construction, Heavy Plant, Agriculture, Commercial Vehicles or similar industries Strong people management skills Excellent technical understanding of machinery High levels of organisational skills Apply online or call 0121 726 6590 for a confidential discussion / beth.jones@elitecn.co.uk Elite Consultancy Network is a brand within the Executive Network Group.
