Senior Risk Consultant Compliance / Investment Services 3–6 Month Contract | Oxfordshire (Hybrid - 2 or 3 days per week in office) Troi Search are delighted to be working with a UK-based wealth management client. They provide comprehensive financial services to individuals, families, and businesses. Headquartered in Oxfordshire, the company offers a range of services including investment management, financial planning, tax advice, and employee benefits. We are looking for an experienced Senior Risk Analyst to lead a full review and update of the Risk Management Framework, including documentation, processes, and policies. This is a contract role (3–6 months) with the potential to influence long-term strategy and governance by reviewing, refining, and strengthening risk management frameworks and internal controls. Key Responsibilities Lead a full review and update of the Risk Management Framework, including documentation, processes, and policies. Implement the findings and recommendations from an independent third-party risk assessment. Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify and analyze potential threats to operational and financial stability. Maintain and update the Risk Register to reflect accurate taxonomy, scoring, ownership, and control effectiveness. Develop or revise risk models, appetite statements, and assessment criteria. Prepare and deliver clear, actionable reports and presentations to senior stakeholders and governance committees. Identify and address any gaps in existing risk controls and make recommendations for improvement. Ensure regulatory compliance with all applicable standards including conduct, consumer outcomes, and documentation obligations. Contribute to training, procedural development, and internal compliance systems improvements. Skills & Experience Prior experience in a similar risk-focused role within financial services or a regulated industry. Strong understanding of risk identification, assessment methodologies, and regulatory expectations. Excellent communication and reporting skills suitable for senior management and board-level audiences. Strong attention to detail with an analytical mindset. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience with external risk or compliance systems Able to work independently while also collaborating across departments. High ethical standards and discretion in handling sensitive information.
