Senior Procurement Consultant – Major Programmes Glasgow | Hybrid Working £55,000 - £65,000 Car Allowance Benefits A leading consultancy is looking for a Senior Procurement Consultant to join their growing Glasgow team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of major procurement programmes across the energy, construction, and engineering sectors—shaping projects that support national infrastructure and net-zero targets. As a procurement specialist, you’ll support the end-to-end delivery of complex procurement exercises for public and private sector clients, with a focus on NEC-based contracts and regulated public procurement routes. Senior Procurement Consultant, Key Responsibilities Lead and manage procurement workstreams on large-scale programmes Develop procurement strategies that align with business needs and occasionally public sector frameworks Advise clients on NEC procurement approaches and contract execution Collaborate with legal, commercial, and technical teams throughout the procurement lifecycle Contribute to procurement best practice, innovation, and delivery excellence Support junior team members in developing procurement capabilities Senior Procurement Consultant, What We’re Looking For Strong background in procurement within energy, construction, or engineering Experience of NEC contracts and public sector procurement processes (e.g. UCR, PCR) Confident in delivering procurement strategy and managing supplier engagement Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills MCIPS or working towards professional procurement accreditation preferred Why Apply?
