Job Description

We are looking for an innovative, self-driven and customer-centric Senior Payments PM to join our Digital banking client based in the city of London. You will play a key role in translating business needs into functional requirements, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, and ensuring the seamless delivery of impactful payment solutions. You’ll be part of a dynamic, fast-paced environment where agility and strategic thinking are essential. This role will entail: Collecting, understanding and translating business requirements into functional specifications and test scenarios for technical teams Prioritise tasks in line with project timelines, ensuring key milestones are met. Working closely with development team to explain and elaborate on user stories, ensuring clear understanding of acceptance criteria and deliverables Communicate with subject matter experts, system users and external clients to identify and capitalize on business opportunities Apply your experience with SWIFT, ISO 20022, Faster Payments Services, BACS, and SEPA schemes to drive solutions. Assess the impact of new systems, services, or products, ensuring alignment with business needs. Working with internal experts, including compliance, tax, legal and accounting teams to ensure products and services are compliant and fit for purpose Develop and maintain feature roadmaps, using data to inform prioritisation decisions If you are the type of person who thrives on working in the "grey" areas, a problem solver who can manage conflicting stakeholder priorities whilst ensuring delivery, all with a cool head, then this is the job for you Benefits Outside IR35 day rate: £600 - £700 p/day (DoE) Hybrid working: 3 days in the office (City of London) Qualifications The successful candidate will be customer-first in their approach mindset, extremely detail orientated and comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced organisation. The ideal candidate will have experience in product management at a technology-powered firm with a proven record of delivery. Experience and abilities we are specifically looking for include: 5 years of Experience in finance or payments industry Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, working closely with engineering teams Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to generate customer insights and develop value propositions High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple / competing priorities simultaneously Successful track record of delivering products Excellent communication and presentation skills. Able to influence at all levels within the organisation using clear data and documentation Strong stakeholder management skills
