Job Description

Construction Health and Safety Consultant Northwest based (with remote working flexibility) Permanent £45,000 to £50,000 per annum package A highly regarded Northwest-based consultancy, specialising in the construction industry, is seeking an experienced Construction Health and Safety Consultant to join their expert team. With a strong reputation built on referrals and long-term client relationships, this organisation prides itself on delivering tailored health and safety solutions to designers, developers, contractors, and property owners. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional to take a pivotal role in ensuring compliance, design safety, and excellence in client service. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure CDM 2015 compliance across a variety of projects. - Conduct site inspections, audits, and statutory compliance monitoring. - Develop Pre-Construction Information (PCI) and Construction Phase Plans (CPP). - Produce Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS), and COSHH assessments. - Provide ongoing health and safety support to clients, contractors, and stakeholders. Key Requirements: - NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent (Diploma/Degree in Health & Safety advantageous). - IOSH Membership (TechIOSH/CertIOSH/GradIOSH, working towards CMIOSH preferred). - Proven experience in construction-related health and safety consultancy. - Strong knowledge of CDM 2015 regulations and project safety management. - Full driving licence with flexibility to travel, including occasional overnight stays.
