Maintenance Engineer Location: Maidstone Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 Shift: 4 on 4 off Join a leading global business at the forefront of the FMCG sector. We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work closely with the Maintenance Manager, focusing on both mechanical and electrical maintenance to uphold high standards within their dynamic team environment. Day-to-day of the maintenance Engineer role: Maintain, repair, and improve the performance of various mechanical and electrical equipment and systems within the facility. Repair or replace defective or worn-out parts and components such as gearboxes, motors, conveyors, sprockets, chains, bearings, PLCs, contactors and sensors. Install, test and commission new or upgraded mechanical and electrical equipment and systems. Collaborate closely with other engineers, technicians, operators, and contractors to ensure efficient operations. Required Skills & Qualifications of the Maintenance Engineer: Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Valid certification or license in mechanical and/or engineering or a related field. Strong knowledge of mechanical principles, theories and practices.
