Project Manager (Finance)

Our client, a Global FMCG brand, are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team on a contract basis. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the project stays on track, within budget and meets key milestones while delivering high-quality outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and maintain the project's financial data by reviewing budget forecasts and actuals monthly Regularly update financial forecasts (latest estimates - LE) to reflect current spending estimates and project phasing ensuring that weekly updates are provided to keep the project on track LE vs LA analysis - conduct ongoing analysis to identify areas where estimates are budget and mitigate risks when estimates exceed budget Forecast resource utilisation and ensure timesheet recharges are accurately reflected in project costs to manage expenses Maintain focus on timelines, scope and budgetary constraints, ensuring that the project continues to progress smoothly and within scope Project risk management Stakeholder management Key Skills and Qualifications: Strong analytical skills including analysing budgets, financial forecasts and variances Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience in handling inflight projects and the ability to work within a fast paced environment to ensure project goals are met This is an Outside IR35 contract opportunity with a hybrid working model. Please note - candidates for this role MUST be able to work on site at our client's Glasgow based office.
