Technical Sales Representative (Marine Dept.)

Premier Work Support is currently recruiting for a permanent Technical Sales Representative for a marine department for our prestigious client based in the Crayford area. Key responsibilities of the job include: Provide expert technical advice and support over the phone, addressing enquiries related to their lighting product range. Generate precise quotes for lighting products, accurately determine customer requirements based on technical specifications. Collaborate closely with the Design department to develop custom lighting solutions tailored for marine projects. Engage with marine industry stakeholders, including shipbuilders, architects, and marine engineers, to ensure project objectives are met. Extract lengths and quantities from technical drawings and provide accurate, detailed quotes. Assist External Sales with technical aspects of their marine projects, ensuring seamless project management. Apply project management skills to oversee lighting projects, ensuring timely and within budget completion. Attend client-facing functions and represent the company in a professional and knowledgeable manner. Process orders with technical accuracy, ensuring all specifications are met and feasible. Skills required for this role: Responsible, reliable and self-motivated. Inquisitive, "can do" attitude and willing to find information out for yourself. Excellent attention to detail. Confident in Technical Products. Exceptional multi-tasking skills. Staying calm and focused under pressure. Problem solving skills. Confident with MSWord/Excel and ability to learn bespoke systems.
