Network Engineer - Fully Remote - UK Only

Job Summary: This role involves designing, implementing, and supporting complex technical solutions, focusing on network and systems infrastructure. The position requires deep technical expertise, proactive problem-solving, and collaboration with various teams to ensure system availability, performance, and security. Responsibilities: Develop and implement technical solutions aligned with business needs. Manage and support network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, etc.), including lifecycle management, upgrades, and incident response. Oversee critical changes and ensure infrastructure efficiency. Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, Security, and Support teams. Ensure system availability, performance, and security. Align technology solutions with business strategies. Coordinate upgrades with vendors and internal teams. Must have: Strong Palo Alto experience, including Prisma Access / Prisma Cloud solutions Expertise in BGP – hands-on experience with design, deployment, and troubleshooting Experience with at least one of AWS, Azure, or GCP Strong routing and switching skills VXLAN & EVPN experience (or SDN alternatives like Cisco ACI or VMware NSX) Knowledge of IPSEC, DHCP, DNS Solid experience with Juniper switches and routers (Cisco acceptable for strong candidates) Experience with load balancing – HAProxy preferred; F5, A10, Kemp are also suitable Nice to have: Exposure to Kentik, Netbox, or Portnox Scripting and familiarity with tools such as Git, VS Code, Docker, Terraform
