What you’ll be doing: Operating the plant safely and efficiently, including start-ups, shutdowns, and emergencies. Monitoring the Distributed Control System (DCS) to maintain steam pressure and power production. Ensuring compliance with environmental permits and reporting issues to the Shift Team Leader. Conducting plant inspections, front-line maintenance, and fault finding. Assisting with operating procedures and supporting the maintenance team. What we want from you: Level 3 qualification in engineering (or equivalent experience). Process operations experience with knowledge of SCADA/PLC/DCS systems. Experience in control room operations, ideally with steam-raising plant and turbines. Background in industries such as Energy from Waste, Biomass, or Petrochemicals.
