Location: London | Contract: Permanent | Hybrid Working The Opportunity A Top 15 UK accountancy and advisory firm is seeking an Audit Semi-Senior to join its dynamic London-based team. The Audit Semi-Senior will collaborate with experienced managers and partners on audits across multiple sectors, contributing to high-quality engagements and building trusted client relationships with a variety of organisations, including owner-managed businesses, schools, and charities. Client Portfolio & Responsibilities The successful candidate will gain broad experience working with an eclectic mix of clients — from companies and legal firms to educational institutions and non-profits. Key responsibilities include: Participating in on-site audits and supporting high-standard audit delivery Preparing accounts in compliance with Financial Reporting Standards Drafting basic corporation tax computations Attending client meetings and fostering strong professional relationships Managing personal workloads and meeting deadlines with access to ongoing support Contributing to internal improvements and firm-wide initiatives The firm encourages innovation, collaboration, and professional development across all teams. Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will: Be studying towards the ACA qualification (having completed all certificate-level papers), or be qualified to AAT Level 4 Possess at least 2 year of audit experience (additional experience in accounts or tax is advantageous) Be comfortable using tools such as Pro-audit, CCH Accounts Production, Xero, QuickBooks, Alphatax, and Office 365 Demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively Exhibit a client-focused approach, strong interpersonal skills, and a positive attitude Technology Stack The firm embraces modern tools and systems to ensure efficient, high-quality service delivery.
