Electrical Connection Engineer

Job Description

About the Role: You will be responsible for managing high and medium voltage substation and electrical network projects. This includes overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, participating in technical design, and assisting with project management from site preparation to installation and commissioning. You will work at various stages of project progress, handling a wide range of tasks. Key Responsibilities: Submit connection requests and analyse connection documents from relevant authorities. Develop specifications and coordinate tenders for service providers. Ensure projects meet cost, deadline, and quality requirements. Organise and lead site meetings, and monitor external teams and subcontractors. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and labour laws. Provide regular reports in English to colleagues abroad. Assist development teams with project planning. Monitor international construction sites across Europe. Travel Requirements: Regular travel to construction sites across France, approximately twice a month, with overnight stays. Occasional international travel within Europe, up to one 3-day trip every two weeks. Knowledge of electrical regulations, substations, and connection procedures. Experience with electrical studies, including power, transient phenomena, and protection settings. Proactive and team-oriented with a good command of technical English.
