Senior Director of Product Management - France - Semiconductors

Mackenzie Stuart is partnered with a leading innovator in microdisplay technology seeking a Senior Director of Product Management – Microdisplays. This critical role involves leading the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for microdisplay technologies, driving innovation and market adoption across AR/VR, consumer electronics, and industrial applications. The executive will collaborate closely with engineering, MARCOM, sales, and key customers to define next-generation microdisplay solutions that align with market trends and customer needs. A critical part of this role will be defining and maintaining the Product Requirements Specification (PRS) to ensure alignment between customer expectations, engineering feasibility, and business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for microdisplay technologies. Identify emerging trends in display technologies to maintain a competitive edge. Develop a multi-year product plan balancing short-term revenue with long-term innovation. Manage the end-to-end creation of the Product Requirements Specification (PRS). Engage with customers and industry stakeholders to gather insights on product requirements. Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and operations to ensure product feasibility and optimization. Partner with marketing to position products effectively and drive demand generation. Own the product development lifecycle from concept to launch. Qualifications: 10 years in product management, with 5 years in leadership within display, semiconductor, or AR/VR industries. Strong technical knowledge of microdisplay technologies and applications. Proven success in commercializing complex hardware products. Expertise in defining Product Requirements Specifications (PRS) and collaborating with engineering teams. Excellent leadership and communication skills; global team experience is a plus. Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or PhD) in Engineering, Physics, or Business preferred. Familiarity with supply chain and manufacturing in the microdisplay industry. Knowledge of AR/VR, automotive, or wearable technology ecosystems. Location: Candidate must be based in, or willing to relocate to, Grenoble, France. Salary: €130,000-150,000 base salary benefits.
