The AIN works under the direction of the of the Registered Nurse and this may be overseen by an Enrolled Nurse to assist in achieving service goals. Requirements: Applicants who meet one of the following criteria are considered highly desirable: Hold a relevant Certificate III in Aged Care, Health Service Assistant or equivalent Successful completion of the first semester full-time equivalent Diploma of Nursing course including all theoretical and clinical competencies Successful completion of the first year full-time equivalent undergraduate Bachelor of Nursing course including all theoretical and clinical competencies Shift Workers: Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster, which will include participation in an on-call roster. National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Check: As a Health Care worker in Queensland Health who engages in risk-assessed roles, you must hold a current disability check (Yellow Card or Yellow Card Exemption) or a NDIS worker screening check, in accordance with Part 5 of the Disability Services Act 2006 (Qld).
