Job Description
Our client is a leading civil and construction contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality infrastructure projects across Newcastle and the surrounding regions. With a growing pipeline of civil and large concrete projects ranging from $1 million to $20 million, we’re seeking a highly motivated and skilled Civil Project Engineer to join their dynamic team. The Role: As a Civil Project Engineer, you’ll play a key role in the planning, execution, and delivery of a variety of civil construction projects. You will work closely with project managers, site teams, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. Key Responsibilities Assist in the planning and coordination of civil projects from inception to completion Manage budgets, procurement, scheduling, and reporting Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams Monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with specifications and standards Prepare documentation including reports, cost tracking, and safety records Identify and mitigate project risks and issues About You Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related field (essential) Minimum of 3 years’ experience in civil construction, with proven experience on projects ranging from $1M to $20M Strong technical knowledge and understanding of civil construction methodologies Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage multiple priorities Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office suite Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement What’s on Offer: Competitive salary package Newcastle Office Location A supportive and collaborative team culture Exposure to diverse and challenging projects Long-term career development opportunities Interested?
