Requirements: Appointment, and future increment progression, between pay points HWF3.1 to HWF3.5 requires: Certificate IV in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health, or Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work, or Certificate IV in Mental Health, or Certificate IV in Alcohol and other Drugs. Appointment, and future increment progression, between pay points HWF3.2 to HWF3.7, or HWF3.8 (limited to employees who meet the requirements of HED 04/23) requires: Diploma of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care, or Diploma of Mental Health, or Diploma of Alcohol and Other Drugs Possession of class C drivers' licence. This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis. Probation period may apply. Pre-employment checks will be conducted including criminal history clearance and Blue Card Checks. Under s25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991, there is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community.
