Who are we looking for? We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplined Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Avionics) to join our team in Darwin/Alice Spring, NT. Your role In This Role, Your Key Responsibilities Will Include Line maintenance and heavy maintenance of aircraft - i.e. dismantling, inspecting, testing, and repairing various aircraft systems, including airframe and engine;Assembling parts and sub-assemblies of aircraft structure;Conducting routine servicing of aircraft, including component replacements and fluid servicing; Conducting routine pre-flight inspections of engines and propellors, aircraft mechanical systems and structure; performing aircraft and aeronautical product maintenance in accordance with the continuing airworthinees/maintenance data;Ensuring that all maintenance carried out is certified correctly, IAW CASA regulations. Including Safety and Quality Management Systems and the Approved Maintenance Organisation Exposition (AMOE);Replacement of electronic components, including hydraulic actuators, engines and components, landing gear and flight controls; Executing post-repair functional tests;Identifying and reporting any issues found during the course of maintenanceEnsure all work is carried out in accordance with technical documentation;Issuing certificates of release to service, including onboarding ASIC, AOD, and DAMP. The essential requirements 3 years mechanical experience on Cessna Conquest 441, Cessna Caravan 208B, Cessna 402C, Cessna 310R, Cessna 210 aircraft (or similar type);Trade Certificate IV (Avionics)Highly skilled and competent in aircraft mechanical system troubleshooting, repair and installation of electronic components; Strong team player;Ability to follow supervisory direction;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;Consistent positive and proactive attitude;Passion for safe work practices;Valid work visa;Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain); and,Current Australian Driver's licence. Shifts will be primarily Monday to Friday - with 38 hours week with flexible working arrangements Additional Qualifications We are specifically looking for candidates capable of committing to flexible working arrangements; further, please ensure that you are available to work in Darwin/Alice Spring before applying.
