Book keeper

About the role We have an exciting full-time opportunity for an experienced Book keeper to join the finance team at Complete Plumbing and Fire Pty Ltd, located in Wollongong, NSW. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and ensuring the smooth running of our accounting operations. What you'll be doing Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance Prepare and process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions in a timely and accurate manner Reconcile financial accounts and investigate and resolve any discrepancies Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations What we're looking for Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar bookkeeping or accounting role, preferably within a small business or professional services environment Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills Proficient in the use of accounting software such as MYOB Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Sound understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting requirements What we offer At Complete Plumbing and Fire Pty Ltd, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
