Finance Manager

As the Financial Manager, youll take the reins of the finance department, lead a team of 15, and drive financial excellence across the business. Youll be based in Johannesburg North and play a critical role in strategic decision-making and operational oversight. What you'll do Lead, manage, and mentor a finance team of 15 Oversee day-to-day financial operations and ensure compliance Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes Provide decision-support to the executive team through strategic financial analysis Maintain and enhance internal controls and financial systems (Proman, SAGE payroll, SAP Ariba, Coupa) Champion cost-saving initiatives and profitability strategies Approve payroll transactions and engage with external auditors Collaborate with senior leadership to align financial planning with business goals Maintain up-to-date knowledge of King IV and IFRS standards What you'll need Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related Chartered Accountant (CA), CIMA, or equivalent qualification Experience with Proman, SAGE payroll, SAP Ariba, Coupa (bonus points for all four!) Solid grasp of financial management principles and compliance Strong leadership and communication skills A strategic mind with a passion for numbers and people Background in consulting engineering is a big plus
