Senior Quality Engineer

Qualifications • Degree in Engineering related field • From 5 to 7 years of experience in Quality within the Automotive Industry • Core Tools, APQP, Problem Solving and Statistical Tools background required • IATF 16946 & ISO 9000 knowledge • Bilingual You will execute the implementation of systems and controls necessary for the production process to ensure the compliance of the product and process with customers requirements, participating in early stages of launch with direct responsibility in the realization and submission of PPAP to customers, as well as the implementation of corrective actions at any stage of the process to correct non conformities of the product, process or system. What will be your daily activities?: You will establish and maintain documented procedures of quality product. You will develop / review & update our quality plans. Identify and acquire any control, process, equipment, accessories, resources and skills necessary to meet the required quality. Identify and prepare records of quality products. Submit PPAP parts and documentation to customers according to customers requirements, as well as follow up PPAP approval from customer to mass production. Preserve documentation of quality plans as directed in the procedure for record keeping data. Define and establish measuring techniques and sampling plans, as well as reaction plans when acceptance criteria are not fulfilled. Identify and implement statistical methods of verification / validation when applicable or as directed by the quality plans. Document corrective & preventive actions according to documented procedures relating to handling of customers complaints. Participate in activities related to IPPM's reduction Develop priorities for customer-related problems Perform updates as necessary to our quality control, inspection and testing procedures, including the development of new instrumentation. You will support the certification & release of tooling, as well as inspection equipment. Follow up Control Plan summarizing the necessary inspections for each production step
