NPL Portfolio Manager

Asset management firm, part of a leading investment fund, is seeking a Portfolio Manager specialized in NPLs. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and coordinate the strategic and operational management of NPL portfolios (secured and unsecured). Analyze portfolio performance, identifying risks, deviations, and potential value enhancement opportunities. Support acquisition processes by conducting due diligence, financial modeling, and drafting business plans. Collaborate with legal teams to define and implement judicial and out-of-court recovery strategies. Manage and monitor external servicers, ensuring adherence to KPIs, SLAs, and agreed strategies. Prepare and present regular performance reports for local leadership and global stakeholders, including recovery forecasts and cash flow projections. Identify and implement process improvements and strategic initiatives to optimize asset recovery. Stay informed about regulatory developments and market trends in the NPL and distressed asset space across Spain and Europe. Requirements(M/F/D): Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related field. At least 5 years of experience in similar roles within servicers, investment funds, banks, or consulting firms focused on NPL management. Strong understanding of the NPL lifecycle, local regulations, and recovery strategies. Excellent analytical skills, strategic thinking, and a strong results-oriented mindset. Proven ability to coordinate external stakeholders and manage complex workflows. High level of proficiency in English (required).
