IT Operations Engineer - Networks

Harvey Nash is proud to be partnering with a global industrial leader based in Yorkshire, currently seeking an experienced IT Operations Engineer with a strong focus on networking. In this role, you’ll be a key part of the Networks team, and maintaining network infrastructure, resolving incidents, managing service requests, applying patches, and contributing to key project work. Key Responsibilities: Strong network troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Experience managing complex LAN networks across multiple sites Knowledge of Cisco, Palo Alto, F5, and Meraki systems Public cloud networking experience (AWS & Azure) Adherence to ITIL processes (change, incident management) SLA-focused with clear communication Knowledge and Experience: 3–5 years' experience in a 3rd line network technical support role CCNA certification (or proven hands-on experience at CCNA level) Strong experience configuring and supporting: Cisco switches (IOS, IOS-XE, Nexus), Cisco routers Hands-on experience with firewall technologies (Palo Alto preferred) Exposure to Velocloud SD-WAN and/or Zscaler ZIA/ZPA (desirable) Working knowledge of ITSM practices Comfortable working in industrial environments and adhering to Health & Safety policies Sound like yourself then Apply below, or alternatively drop me an email to mo.gaibee@harveynash.com with an updated CV and ill be sure to be in touch!
