Join Airedale NHS Foundation Trust as Head of Technical - to lead the design and construction of the new Airedale General Hospital. This position offers a once-in-a-generation opportunity to be involved in a major hospital development as part of the wider NHS New Hospital Programme. Salary: Band 8D | £88,168 to £101,677 Location: Airedale General Hospital - Hybrid Working Pattern We are seeking an enthusiastic Head of Technical to join the team and help take the scheme forward by leading the planning and management of the end-to-end construction of the build. This position is crucial in creating a safe and efficient environment for patients, visitors, and staff at one of the most ambitious healthcare projects within the NHS. Role Responsibilities Lead the development and management of plans to develop the hospital site in line with the vision and objectives for the New Hospital and the wider site development programme. Ensure the New Hospital 2.0 Reference Design is applied across the end-to-end scheme design process, providing reference to any areas where this can’t be achieved. Be accountable for the relevant approved budgets, managing the cashflow and reporting against programme cashflow/budget. Chartered professional with membership in an appropriate construction-related or engineering professional institution.
