Security Data Loss Prevention Engineer - Remote (UK) - Permanent

Hawksworth are looking for a Security Data Loss Prevention Engineer for a Global Law firm. The position will be remote in the UK with travel to either Belfast or London infrequently for meetups or important face-to-face meetings. Salary to be discussed with the candidate base on level, skill, availability etc. Jon Description: The Security Data Loss Prevention Engineer will monitor the use and efficacy of current tooling and ensure an improvement program is in place and will manage the capacity and tool maintenance programme. Working with a global team, and business owners to align with technical standards. Required skills & experience: 3-5 years’ experience working in Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Computer Science degree or equivalent Experience of enterprise DLP technologies: Proficiency in implementing and managing DLP solutions, including Microsoft Purview, M365 and Proofpoint technologies. Hands-on experience of writing policies Data Classification and Protection: Knowledge of data classification methodologies and the associated compliance frameworks An understanding of security DLP best practices and frameworks, including GDPR, HIPAA, and other relevant regulations for large organisations Seasoned professional of m365 Certifications such as Microsoft SC-400, AZ-500, MS- 900, or CISSP preferred If you are an experienced DLP professional with the above experience and are eligible to work in the UK without need of sponsorship (now or in the future) please apply now!
