Finance BI / Analytics - Senior Analyst

We're helping a Mid Sized Wealth / Investment Manager hire a Finance BI & DA Senior Analyst. They are creating a capability that will help the business leverage data to provide insights and enhance decisions. The Role : Business Intelligence & Automation: Develop and manage BI dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to track performance and enhance data visibility. Automate routine reporting to improve efficiency and ensure timely insights. Data Science / Analytics: Support and lead data analytics projects, including forecasting and predictive modelling. Work closely with the BI & Data Analytics Manager on strategic analytics initiatives. Data Reporting & Analysis: Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that inform strategic decisions. Design and deliver clear, insight-driven reports, dashboards, and KPIs aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with finance teams and business stakeholders to provide actionable insights. Communicate findings clearly to non-technical audiences, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Required Skills: Personal: Proactive, adaptable, and results-focused; committed to data quality and able to perform in fast-paced environments. Analytical: Strong analytical skills with expertise in statistical analysis, predictive modelling, and interpreting complex data to deliver actionable insights. Communication: Clear and confident communicator with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence through data-driven insights. Technical: Proficient in Alteryx, Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud; experienced with Snowflake and data modelling; familiarity with R and Python highly desirable. Financial Services: Experience working in a Finance firm, preferably Wealth Manager / Private Bank / Hedge Fund. Required Qualifications: Applicable Degree (e.g. Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Finance, Statistics Relevant certifications (e.g. CBIP, CFA, Microsoft Data Analyst). 3 years experience in data analytics or business intelligence, preferably within a finance function.
