IT Project Manager

IT Project Manager, Travel Industry, Brighton. A fantastic opportunity to take on this newly created role within a specialist travel company based in the Brighton area. This role reports directly in to the MD/Founder, will lead and play a hands on role in delivering a number of IT projects. IT Project Manager Responsibilities Help develop and implement the plan for new technologies in the business to support with growth plans. Work closely with an external software company who are creating a bespoke reservations system on it's functionality, implementation and troubleshooting of any issues once live. Develop a deep understanding of the organisations in-house systems, websites and processes in order to identify areas of improvement. Maintain and continually seek ways to improve the business technology capabilities. Manage budgets and this party suppliers. In conjunction with the outsourced IT support provider, play a hands on role in supporting the business with any technology issues, upgrades and changes. IT Project Manager Skills Required Previous Technology Management / IT Project Management experience gained in the travel industry with an understanding of reservation systems and business/process flows within a travel business. Excellent project management skills Experience working with budget restraints more common in small-mid sized organisations An ability and willingness to 'roll your sleeves up' and play a hands on role delivering projects and supporting the business where necessary. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to bring together technical and non-technical stakeholders. IT Project Manager Additional Details A competitive salary dependant on experience (to be discussed on application) Office based in the Brighton area 4 days a week with the option to work remotely 1 day per week.
