Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Role Overview: Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Field-Based) Joining their dynamic maintenance team covering the whole of the UK, my client is looking for a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to maintain & service ANPR systems at customer sites. The ideal candidate will be happy with travel, overnight stays, and have a strong electrical bias. Key Responsibilities: · Maintenance of ANPR systems at customer sites · Conducting maintenance works on both a planned preventative & reactive basis. · Responsible for the configuration, test, fault finding & maintaining of LAN equipment & services (switches, routers, firewalls & VPN). · Mentor & train junior engineers where appropriate. · Travel across the UK to service at customer sites. On average, you'll be away from home 3-4 nights per week. Requirements: · 18th edition IEEE Regulations qualification. · ECS Gold Card. · NVQ in an electrically-biassed discipline (eg: electrical, electronics, Electrotechnical). · 2-3 years' experience in a similar role working with CCTV & ANPR equipment (Desirable). · Competent configuration, test and maintaining of LAN equipment. This includes switches, routers, firewalls & VPN. (Desirable) · Full, clean UK Driving License.
